No More Fear

Once again, they spoke in sharp whispers,
Fueling one another with senseless this and that.
Lighting fire to their imaginations,
Stabbing her in the back.
Love is what they called it,
Though conditional it was.
This time, THEY would leave HER side,
Rather than SHE leaving theirs.
Love is what they called it,
Though conditional it was.
This time she didn’t bat an eyelash,
Confident she was.
Having searched for years on end,
For the light that was always inside of her.
When she found it, there was no turning
 back,
Her existence was to help others.
Into the light is where she went,
Finally free of fear.
Where she remained in a state of love,
Hearts beating as one, right now and right here.
